Meet Kaleb

Kaleb is a bright and loving 5-year-old boy whose favorite place in the world is Target. Whether it’s toys, clothes, or everyday essentials, Target has always been his happy place, and his parents shared with us that it’s the best store for their family’s needs. When we learned about Kaleb’s journey, we knew that donating a large Target gift card would bring joy and comfort to him and his family during this difficult time.

On August 26, 2024, Kaleb’s world changed when he was diagnosed with Leukemia (ALL-B). It all began with stomach pain that led his parents to take him to the hospital. Within just two days, they received the heartbreaking news. Like so many families facing cancer, the diagnosis was overwhelming and frightening. But with God’s grace, Kaleb’s treatment has helped him feel better, and today he is even back in school.

The journey has not been easy. Kaleb faced challenges such as losing weight, losing his hair, and missing a full year of school. But through it all, his family has stood strong beside him. His older sister has been one of his greatest motivators, always finding ways to keep his spirits high. Kaleb also finds joy in the little things—playing Roblox, watching YouTube Kids, and going to the park.

Kaleb has big dreams for his future. Inspired by his own journey, he says he wants to work in a hospital one day to help other children going through what he has faced. His father, Walter, expressed his gratitude with heartfelt words:

“I just want to say thank you to Joseph and his mother for the help that we got for Kaleb. This is a great foundation. I just hope the people help this foundation to get money to help other families. Kaleb is doing well, thanks God.”

We love Kaleb and his family and are so thankful we could connect with them. Their faith and resilience are an inspiration, and we are grateful to play a small part in their journey.
