Meet Jazzy.

At just two and a half years old, Jazalyn “Jazzy” Moses’ life changed forever. What first seemed like a simple issue quickly became every parent’s nightmare. After suddenly losing the ability to walk, Jazzy’s mother, Autumn, repeatedly brought her to doctors searching for answers. For weeks, they were told it was likely just a urinary tract infection, but Autumn knew something was deeply wrong. Refusing to settle without answers, she continued pushing for more testing until doctors finally uncovered the devastating truth on February 14th, 2019 — Jazzy had Neuroblastoma.

Since that day, Jazzy has spent the majority of her young life fighting a battle no child should ever have to face. Over the years, she has relapsed three separate times, enduring unimaginable treatments, hospital stays, and procedures. In just the last two months alone, Jazzy has undergone three major brain surgeries. Now, after years of fighting with incredible strength, her family has been faced with the heartbreaking reality that she is out of medical options.

Despite the overwhelming weight of this journey, Jazzy continues to bring light into the lives of those around her. Her mom shared that one of the ways Jazzy keeps going is through singing, dancing, and cooking together in the kitchen. Even in the hardest moments, she refuses to let cancer take away her smile or spirit. Her message to others facing difficult battles is simple but powerful: “No matter how hard it gets, don’t let it dull your smile.”

The emotional and financial toll of years spent traveling for treatment and living life in and out of hospitals has been incredibly difficult for their family. Autumn expressed the constant challenges that come with being on the road while trying to care for Jazzy every single day. When we learned they were in need of support, we were able to donate a Walmart gift card to help ease some of the burden for everyday essentials while they continue navigating this heartbreaking journey.

More than anything, we are sending all of our love, prayers, and strength to Jazzy, Autumn, and their entire family. Jazzy’s courage and resilience are beyond inspiring, and we hope they know they are not fighting this battle alone.
