Fightstrong Family
What began as a small group of family and close friends supporting a young man through his battle with cancer has since grown into a community-powered movement. The heart of the Fightstrong Foundation has always been about connection — the people standing beside you when life gets hard, who show up not because they have to, but because they care. That spirit of love, loyalty, and action continues to shape our team today.
Whether you’re a volunteer, board member, or one of our behind-the-scenes supporters, you’re here for a reason: to make a difference in someone’s life. Below are the values we look for in every member of our Fightstrong family.
The Fightfront Volunteer Program
Coming in 2025, the Fightfront Volunteer Program will be a new chapter in growing our mission and building a community of action. This dedicated team of volunteers will play a hands-on role in sharing the Fightstrong purpose, leading with heart, and helping us reach more families than ever before. It will include those we’ve supported who want to give back, long-time volunteers, and new faces who feel called to make a difference. From representing Fightstrong at events, to organizing fundraisers, to taking part in the donation process and making contributions on behalf of the foundation — Fightfront members will be at the forefront of everything we do. More than just a volunteer group, this program will be a powerful way to turn compassion into impact and ensure no one faces cancer alone.
